 Just let me tell you that in Cordoba we have the best hunting grounds  you'll ever know.

 Let me elaborate:

 Iemmi Hunting is a complex located in La Quinta, Rio Primero Department, Cordoba, Argentina. Our Estancias, "El Fortin" and "La Macarena" are located 90km away from Cordoba's International Airport. The complex has top-quality cabins, rooms with private bathrooms, central heating and air conditioning, and additional comfort services. The facilities have a large dining room, a cozy living room and a bar.

The volume of the turtledove is excellent all year round, and you'll be able to shoot as many shells as you want. There is no killing limit.

 We also like to emphasize the fact that the attention during the stay is conducted by us (the owners) in our own fields.

Our shotguns are semi-automatic 20 gauge.

We drive you from the airport to our lodges and back.

General Information

 Iemmi Hunting is a company specialized in small game hunting and outdoor activities located in Argentina. This South American country is world-famous by its vegetation and wildlife; and thanks to its great abundance of bird species (including duck, partridge, and native dove), it receives a great number of enthusiastic sportsmen every year from all around the world. On average, hunters can usually shoot over 1000 shells a day. Besides, hunters are constantly supervised and assisted by our experienced hunting outfitters. 

  The main objective of Iemmi Hunting is to provide hunters our professionalism and experience to deliver an unforgettable experience.                 

                                                           

                                     DOVE SHOOTING

 The turtledove is a fast bird despite its corpulence. It is a bird that multiplies at an extraordinary rate, to such an extent that it was declared plague by the Province of Cordoba because of the damages caused to regional agriculture. Cordoba, with its streams, fertile valleys, and forests of "espinillos", creates the ideal habitat for doves. The north of Cordoba offers an extensive area and adequate infrastructure for dove shooting, being referred to as the best region for the hunt of the turtledove.

 The shooting is carried out in key places surprising the animal in flight when it goes off to eat or when they return to its roost. The shooting has its peak hours at sunrise and at sundown. Doves generally continue a course of repeated flights; when one or two specimens fly through, it is safe to assume that a great number of doves will repeat the trajectory. The best strategy is to have good visual control and a good hiding spot.

                                                                     
  Argentina is well known for its abundance of dove, therefore, there are no shooting limits.

                               

                                              

 SHOTGUNS AND AMMUNITIONS

 We recommend that you bring your own shotguns. The maximum allowed to pass through customs is 2 guns.

 IEMMI HUNTING can provide shotgun rentals at extra cost. Ammunition will be sold at the lodge as it cannot be transported on the airlines. We stock a wide variety of  20 gauge ammo. If you have special requirements such as high or low power shells or a specific gauge, we can provide them but we need advanced notice.

 Since this is a high volume dove shooting, expect to shoot around 2000 shells per day. Our average hunter shoots between 1500 and 2000 shells per day.

The Lodges, Food & Drink

    THE LODGE

 Located near the hunting fields, the lodges have the capacity to accommodate up to 15 people with all the comfort for a pleasant stay. Cabins are comfortable and equipped with central heating, air conditioning, private bathroom and DirecTV, and WiFi.

   FOOD & DRINKS

 We serve Continental and American breakfast. Lunch and dinner are prepared and served in a traditional Argentinean style (meats, fish, pasta, fruits and vegetables) alongside fresh home-baked bread and the typical "Asado" (Argentinean barbecue). We not only offer assorted beers, fruit juices and soft drinks but also national and imported fine wines.

 Hunters with certain dietary needs can be accommodated with an advanced notice.

 Transport from the airport to the lodge and back, and from the lodge to the hunting locations. 

Accommodation in the lodge next to the hunting areas. Complete pension,

modern 4x4 transportation, organized hunts with professional guides and interpreters; personal assistance of a bird boy for each hunter and catering service during the shooting.

 RATE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
 Phone calls; license; Laundry service; tips; ammunition, weapons, taxidermies, conservation and shipping of the obtained pieces, tips,  and everything that is not properly specified, all which is understood as an extra service.

Iemmi Hunting - Small Game Hunting

 In Argentina, there are many species that provide hunters the possibility of practicing this type of hunting. The more prominent species are: partridge, duck, hare and dove.  In some regions, hare and dove do not have a shooting limit given that they are considered plagues. These two species are more commonly found in agricultural areas.

           

Turtledove Hunting

 Cordoba is considered the best place in the world for dove shooting. In the last ten years, Cordoba province has become the world's most visited destination for dove shooters. The great variety of birds in local sown fields allows hunters to practice any kind of shot. Shooters generally use two guns and a recharger so as to prevent the heating of the tube, given that it is possible to shoot around 1000 shots in a single morning. The shooting is carried out near their roosts and sown fields.
